CSUSB is located between Los Angeles and Palm Spring near the I-10, I-15 and I-215 interchanges. Our location at the foothills of the San Bernardino Mountains and proximity to the beaches of Southern California, crags of Joshua Tree, peaks of the Sierra Nevada Range lends itself to outdoor adventure pre or post conference.

The conference will be held on campus at the Santos Manuel Student Union and in the Student Recreation and Fitness Center. Sleeping space on the gym floor of the SFRC and showers are provided.

We encourage you to become involved with WROLC by attending the conference, presenting, or helping us develop resources on the wrolc.org website. Thanks and we look forward to hearing from you soon.

Keynote Speaker- Mike Libecki

Mike Libecki

We are happy to announce that Mountain Hardwear athlete Mike Libecki will be our keynote speaker at Saturday night’s banquet. “Mike spends most of his time traveling to the most remote, exotic and untouched locations on the planet to pursue his passion of big wall and alpine first ascents, traverses, and other offbeat adventures, many of them completely alone. Libecki has established multiple first ascents in such areas as Baffin Island, Greenland, China, Madagascar, Kyrgysztan, Venezuela, and Antarctica. He made the first traverse across the Taklamakan Desert in Western China, also known as the “Sea of Death” by the local people.”
